Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Your Conveyancing services uses the personal information you provide when you request a conveyancing quote through this website. What information we collect
When you complete the quote form, we collect:- Your name (title, first name, last name)
- Your email address
- Your telephone number
- Details about the property you are buying, selling, or remortgaging (address, price, tenure, etc.)
- Information about your circumstances relevant to the quote (e.g. first-time buyer, mortgage status, auction sale)
Why we collect it
We use this information to:- Generate a personalised conveyancing quote based on your specific circumstances
- Email the quote to you so you can review it at your leisure
- Allow you to retrieve your quote later using your email address and a reference number
- If you choose to proceed with the quote, pass your details to our conveyancing team so they can begin work on your transaction
Legal basis
We process your information under the legal basis of "performance of a contract or pre-contractual step at your request" (Article 6(1)(b) of UK GDPR). You requested a quote, and we process your data to provide one to you. If you opt in to marketing emails, the legal basis for those communications is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw that consent at any time. How long we keep your data
We keep your quote details for 30 days from the date you submitted the form. This is so you can retrieve your quote later. After that period, your details are automatically deleted from our systems. If you proceed with the quote and instruct us to act, your details will be retained for longer in line with our wider client data retention policies (typically required by anti-money-laundering rules and other legal/regulatory obligations).Who we share your data with
The quote service on this website is powered by technology provided and hosted by Convey365 Ltd. Convey365 acts as a data processor on our behalf — they process your data solely to generate your quote and run the service. They do not use your data for any other purpose, and they do not contact you directly. If you instruct us to proceed with your transaction, your quote details are passed into our case management system so our conveyancing team can begin work. From that point onwards, your data is held under the wider client privacy policies that apply to all of our clients.Your rights
You have the right to:- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to any legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time (if you opted in)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
