This Cookie Policy is a starting template. Run a cookie audit and have a solicitor review the final wording before going live.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They’re used to make sites work, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. You can change which categories you allow at any time by clicking the cookie icon on the left side of the page.
Essential
Required for the site to work. These cookies don’t track you and can’t be turned off. Examples: storing your cookie preferences, security/anti-CSRF.
Analytics
Used (with your consent) to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Examples: Google Analytics page-view and event tracking. These cookies expire after a maximum of 26 months.
Marketing
Used (with your consent) to deliver and measure marketing campaigns. Examples: Google Ads conversion tracking, audience-list cookies for retargeting. These cookies expire after a maximum of 13 months.
3. Managing your choices
When you first visit the site you’ll see a banner asking for your cookie preferences. After that you can change your choices at any time using the cookie icon on the left of every page. You can also clear cookies via your browser’s settings.
4. Google Tag Manager & Consent Mode
We use Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-WWKP7ZRH) to load our analytics and advertising tags. We honour Google Consent Mode v2, which means analytics and ad tags are blocked from setting non-essential cookies until you grant consent.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties we use to provide functionality (e.g. embedded forms or videos). These are listed in the relevant category above and are only loaded if you’ve consented to that category.
6. Changes
We may update this policy if the cookies we use change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
